American Reunion, the 4th American Pie film, has been given a release date says Collider:
he upcoming American Pie sequel American Reunion has been set for April 6, 2012. The new film will center on the high school reunion of the main characters from the first film with Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Alyson Hannigan, and Chris Klein all confirmed to return.
ContactMusic has some good news, it seems as though they’re gearing up for American Pie 4 (old news), and now Alyson has apparently officially signed on:
Now Hannigan has signed on to the project, it appears that most of the original cast members will be reuniting for the new movie. The film itself is the story of the group’s ten year high school reunion and Jason Biggs will once again feature as the hapless ‘Jim. Hannigan’s character married ‘Jim’ in the 2003 film ‘American Pie: The Wedding’ and the couple are expected to introduce a child in the new film. The movie is set to be scripted and directed by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, the award winning duo best known for their ‘Harold and Kumar’ movies. Shooting is expecting to begin this summer and attention is now likely to focus on persuading the actress Tara Reid to join the project.
